ABOUT MEI TRUCKING

Ownership:

“Hard Work, Heritage, and Family Values.” These are the guiding principles at MET Trucking, LLC.

Keith and Sara McNamara shepherd those principles daily – creating MEI’s winning culture.

Living in Renville County since the early 1900’s, the McNamara family are recognized as community leaders.

Larry McNamara was a founding board member of the Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative – SMBSC

Keith followed in his father’s footsteps by also serving on the SMBSC board for 12 years

Keith currently serves as a board member with Bushmills Ethanol (Atwater, MN) and Norfolk Township.

2024 marks the seventh year of operation for MEI.

MEI Trucking began as a resource for McNamara’s farming business, and over time other commercial hauling opportunities were identified. Today’s revenues are provided through three types of services:

MEI’s fleet is supported by an experienced operations staff led by General Manager Trent Loverude.

Trent brings with him experience in truckload operations, logistics, and finance. Growing up on a farm, Trent is also well versed in the agricultural hauling business that MEI handles.

Our History

1993

First semi truck purchased and used for hauling sugar beets

2004

McNamara Enterprise was born. Farming and Trucking operation

2015

Started building an over-the-road trucking company

2018

MEI Trucking became our new trucking company, specific to over-the-road hauling and also started construction hauling

2019

Purchased our first belly dumps to expand our construction hauling business

2020

COVID arrived and we kept hauling—lots of work to be done despite the pandemic

Present

Continuing to serve and haul goods for our valued customers
